Natural peanut butter chocolate chip cookies

These are fantastic crumbly cookies with a natural peanut butter base laced with milk chocolate. A really simple recipe ready in no time.

Ingredients

  • 225g butter

  • 275g plain flour

  • 110g caster sugar

  • 75g milk chocolate chips or chocolate broken up into small pieces

  • 2tbsp natural crunchy peanut butter

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°c | gas mark 4

  2. Cream the butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy.

  3. Mix in the peanut butter

  4. Combine the flour into the butter mixture

  5. Fold in the chocolate and mix until evenly combined.

  6. Bring the dough together and devide into small golf ball sized pieces.

  7. Lay the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and gently press down with the palm of your hand.

  8. Pop in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. They should be slightly golden and still soft when you remove them from the oven as they will harden as they cool, leaving you with a delicate crumbly cookie.
