Peanut butter & chocolate chip oat bars

Easy peasy oat bars. These simple no bake bars are quick and easy to make and taste delicious. A great mid morning snack to tide you over to lunch.

Ingredients

  • 250g oats

  • 8 squares of milk chocolate (chopped into pieces)

  • 330g cashew nuts (crushed)

  • 100g honey

  • 100g natural crunchy peanut butter

Method

  1. Mix the peanut butter and honey together in a large bowl.

  2. Add the chocolate, cashew nuts and oats and mix together. It will seem dry to start with but keep stiring and it will come together.

  3. Line a 8x8 baking tin. Place the mixture in the tin and press down to create a tight, even and level top. Place in the fridge for 1 hour, slice in to bars and enjoy.
