White bean peanut butter houmous

A simple take on tahini houmous but using delicious natural peanut butter and Cannellini beans. You'll never buy shop bought houmous again!!

MAKES: 1 large dip | PREP & MAKE: 10 min

Ingredients

  • 1 tin Cannellini beans, drained

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1 tbsp natural smooth peanut butter

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Pinch of sea salt

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until it resembles a smooth paste.

  2. Serve, drizzled with a little extra olive oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chopped parsley if you like.

    Works really well as a base in our middle eastern meatballs.
