Belgium waffles drizzled with chocolate & red berries
Indulge in the very best of Belgium with these delicious waffles, topped with berries, chocolate & fresh cream
Ingredients
250g Plain Flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
30g caster sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp vegetable oil
100ml milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Method
Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites with a whisk until soft peaks form.
In another bowl mix together the egg yolks, milk, oil, chocolate chips and vanilla until well combined. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
Carefully fold in the egg whites until combined.
Cook the mixture in the waffle iron for 5 minutes.
Dress with your favourite toppings. We like melted chocolate, fresh berries and whipped cream.
