Belgium waffles drizzled with chocolate & red berries

Indulge in the very best of Belgium with these delicious waffles, topped with berries, chocolate & fresh cream

Ingredients

  • 250g Plain Flour

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 30g caster sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 100ml milk

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Method

  1. Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

  2. In a separate bowl separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites with a whisk until soft peaks form.

  3. In another bowl mix together the egg yolks, milk, oil, chocolate chips and vanilla until well combined. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.

  4. Carefully fold in the egg whites until combined.

  5. Cook the mixture in the waffle iron for 5 minutes.

  6. Dress with your favourite toppings. We like melted chocolate, fresh berries and whipped cream.
